On Wednesday, February 18, 2026, Annapolis Home Magazine hosts their Design Symposium. Held at the Graduate Hotel at 126 West Street in Annapolis, the event this year is themed "Designing the 21st Century Home." The event runs from 4:00 to 6:00 pm, with a reception following.

Tickets go for $50 per person until Feb. 9, after which date they'll increase to $60. Find tickets here. Event sponsors include Bayview Builders, ADU Appliances, the Sanders Company, JennAir, and Loewen.

Speakers at the Design Symposium

The gathering of home industry professionals will featuring top-tier, award winning design professionals—featured speakers are listed below. The panel will be moderated by Robert Haywood, publisher of Annapolis Home.

Amy E. Gardner, FAIA

Founding principal at Gardner Architects, Amy E. Gardner is also a professor of architecture at the University of Maryland School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation. Her firm focuses on sustainable, artfully crafted residential buildings with site-specific, client-centric work. The firm prioritizes collaboration, and Gardner is passionate about helping clients make sustainable choices in their everyday lives.

Donald Lococo, AIA

Founder of Donald Lococo Architects, Donald Lococo has been practicing both modern and traditional architecture in the Washington, D.C. area for 30 years. His firm specializes in single-family residential architecture and residential architectural interiors, and his design philosophy is inspired by his background in piano performance.

Arlene Critzos

Interior designer Arlene Critzos is a member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and founded Interior Concepts, a full-service design firm, in 1979. The firm now has a team of 60 and creates luxury interiors in both residential and commercial spaces in the US and abroad.
