Design

Historical Arts & Casting offers a staff of in-house architects, engineers, designers, and illustrators who bring a rich background of knowledge to every project we undertake. Our involvement in all types of historical renovations -- including the dismantling and documenting of historical buildings -- has given us valuable insights into how these structures and their cast-metal elements were built. Our experience in new construction is similarly extensive.

Research is an integral part of the design staff's work. Our in-house library has become a valuable resource. We have accumulated a large collection of computer designs, original drawings, photographs, old foundry pattern books, and architectural catalogs filled with etchings and line drawings of cast-metal details. Supported by their experience and in-house design systems, our staff can capably tackle any project to fit new applications, or re-create and adapt styles from any historical period.

Consulting/Estimating

As nationally recognized experts in cast-metal buildings and architectural elements, Historical Arts & Casting is actively involved in historical-restoration consulting. We will work with architects in developing treatments and specifications for their projects. We conduct historical surveys, including research, documentation, drawings, and metal analysis. Preparing budget pricing and estimating current construction or restoration costs are some of the many consulting services we offer

Manufacturing

Our craftspersons and artisans take tremendous pride in handcrafting every detail of their work. State-of-the-art equipment and machinery are used to improve and speed up production. Quality of workmanship is controlled by meticulous ongoing inspections at every point.

Special Installations

Historical Arts & Casting can provide experienced installation personnel -- either a single expert to supervise the on-site construction crew, or an entire team to handle the full installation from start to finish.
