Heritage Metalworks is an award-winning foundry, blacksmith shop, and metal fabricator based in Downingtown, Pennsylvania. Founded in 2001, the company began as a highly specialized restoration shop, collaborating with leading artifact dealers and auction houses including Christie’s, Philip Bradley Antiques, and Keno Auctions. That early restoration work continues to shape the shop’s approach today, with a focus on sourcing exceptional materials and handcrafting each piece with meticulous attention to detail.

Trusted by leading architects, interior designers, contractors, galleries, and museums nationwide, Heritage Metalworks provides concept design, prototype development, and master-level craftsmanship.

The shop specializes in three historically inspired product lines alongside fully custom metalwork, all 100% made in the USA. Heritage Traditions Lighting was the first collection released, featuring transitional designs inspired by reproduction and adaptations from various periods of history. HMW Forge followed, bringing history to life with hand-forged and cast brass architectural hardware crafted using the same techniques as artisans did 300 years ago. Later, Heritage Metalworks acquired the historic Scofield Lighting brand, preserving its legacy of traditional style lighting with a renewed commitment to craftsmanship and historical accuracy.
