Above, sash for an 1896 four square that is being completely restored after having been vacant for five years. The house recently sustained a smoky fire during which many of the windows were damaged or destroyed. At right, one of a mirrored pair of sash that flank a fireplace in a circa 1900 bungalow. Both original sash had broken along their top rails. SRS reproduced two exact replicas to fit the existing openings. We "bricked-up" the curved upper rails for strength.

We stock pulleys, lifts, locks,sash chain and cord, bronze screen and storm sash hangers. We also maintain a large inventory of reclaimed iron sash weights in all sizes.

To increase thermal efficiency, wooden sash can incorporate bronze interlocking weather stripping. While reproduction sash are usually single glazed, insulated units are available upon request.
