A Powerful but Subtle Design Element. We are constantly amazed at how powerful an effect even the most subtle floor can have, not only on how we perceive a space, but how we use it as well. By bringing out the natural beauty of exotic and native hardwoods through a blend of traditional and modern flooring techniques, we create a mosaic with the richness and vibrant warmth of a fine oriental carpet. Every Floor Is Custom Designed. Our floors are commissioned designs developed in close collaboration with the owner,architect, designer or builder. While based on traditional techniques,each floor is an original creation. Designs may be dramatic statements or subtle counterpoints, accenting esthetic and architectural features and complementing the shape and use of space. Family crests, monograms, corporate logos, thematic symbols, borders and abstract designs are but a few of the applications of mosaic floor inlays.

We approach floors as an opportunity for creativity, innovation and historical accuracy. This enables us to developed exciting new options in flooring: our expertise in installing into existing floors, our ability to incorporate pewter and back-lit stone or glass in designs and custom installation of hand-scraped, extremely wide antique plank, are but several of the latest. Exclusive custom designing allows us to create works which fulfill both aesthetic and budget requirements. For us, half the fun, and half the frustration, is in drawing out that creativity and producing a final design that is clearly the result of a collaborative effort.
