Eve Guinan Design-Restoration has an established reputation for creating fine examples of stained and decorative glass.

Our experienced team works closely with the Architect, Interior Designer or Client to create unique art glass pieces, designing and manufacturing commissioned art glass for all types of environments from ecclesiastical to residential and corporate projects.

Our skills range from designing antique stained glass windows using traditional techniques including glass painting, to contemporary schemes incorporating a variety of surface decoration techniques including acid etching, sandblasting and silk-screening.

As part of the design process we offer suggestions on the installation and appropriate protective glazing system when required. We provide an installation service for both the art glass and protective glazing.

Eve Guinan Design Restoration is dedicated to promoting the principles of heritage sustainability within the community. Working with our Churches and Public Building Committees, we advocate ‘Restore and Maintain’ as best conservation practice. Using traditional skills and modern materials conservation of heritage glazing and window components is the way forward in reducing our ‘carbon footprint’ and maintaining our heritage buildings. EGD has a proven track record of working within the public sector on many high profile buildings, where this philosophy is paramount.

With re-adaptive use in mind, we purchase reclaimed stained glass windows when older buildings are demolished. These windows can be adapted and extended to fit existing openings, or incorporated into the design of a new scheme, either way providing a new lease on life for the glass in building projects where the Clients are seeking to use original existing stained glass.
