Design Associates Inc. are specialists in automated entrance gates which we design, build, install and service. Our systems feature beautiful gates of wood, steel, aluminum or other metals created individually for each project.

All components of the gate system are fabricated, supplied and installed by Design Associates Inc. including gates, pier supports, hinges, automation, and communication. We also provide documents for gate footings and wiring supplied by others. All components are hooked up and made ready to run by Design Associates Inc.

We build the gates using high quality materials including solid mahogany almost 4” thick for wood gates, and solid bar and plate (no tube) for metal gates. Advanced and reliable electronics for automation, safeties and communication allow owners easy modes of operation. Special options such as gate area video, automatic entry sensors and connection to whole house control systems are also offered.

Pier light fixtures, which we custom design and fabricate, can also be provided to compliment the gates and entrance. We can easily integrate design suggestions for the gate area masonry piers, plantings, lighting and other details so entering the property is an even more gracious experience.

Based in Connecticut, Design Associates Inc. was started in 1989 and has completed almost 400 gate systems in the northeast and across the country. Every gate system is handled with attention to detail to insure a long lasting and sound investment.
